Nature doesn’t have many purple representatives, flowers bearing this color are scarce, being considered rare and delicate. The color also means passion, vitality, and fulfillment.
As a color it is a combination of blue and red ; it helps balance spiritual growth, universal love, encourages the flow of imagination and the integration of ideas and allows openness to divine wisdom, selflessness and speeds up natural healing.
Violet / Purple is the highest color in the visible spectrum. It can have calming effects over the mind and nerves. It’s helpful for meditation as it’s the color relating to our intuition, also can be uplifting and trigger creativity.
If you are an artist, you might find inspiration easier if you have around purple objects. Purple is a noble and beautiful color and can help us in a great deal, if we know how to use it!
Violet links to the crown chakra and heals melancholy, hysteria, delusions and alcohol addiction and bring spiritual insights and renewal. It slows down an over-active heart and stimulates the spleen and the white blood cells (immunity). Violet soothes mental and emotional stress.
This color governs the central nervous system (CNS), pineal gland, cerebral cortex, the right eye and upper brain function.
Leonardo da Vinci proclaimed that you can increase the power of meditation ten-fold by meditating under the gentle rays of Violet, as found in Church windows.
